WS Horizontal Headstock Circumferential Welding Machine
The WS Series horizontal headstock circumferential welding machine delivers high-efficiency automatic welding for long, circular workpieces — pipes, discs and flanges such as hydraulic cylinders, automotive steering frames, drive shafts and storage tanks. A horizontal chuck with stepless rotation produces a uniform, repeatable bead.
Overview
The WS Series is a high-efficiency automatic welding machine specifically designed for circular workpieces, especially long-size pipes, discs and flanges. It is widely used in hydraulic cylinders, automotive steering frames, drive shafts and storage tanks.
Built around a rigid horizontal headstock, the servo-driven chuck holds the workpiece and rotates at stepless, constant speed — keeping the weld pool stable for a uniform circumferential bead. Its extended clamping range (up to Φ520 mm) makes it ideal for larger pipes and flanges. The torch is carried by a fixed or moveable column manipulator with X/Z travel and 3D micro-adjustment, with optional oscillators, seam laser trackers and welding pool cameras for consistency.
One platform covers TIG / MIG / MAG / PAW (plasma) / Laser processes and adapts via optional horizontal headstock, head & tailstock or multi-axis configurations.
