Overview
Laser cladding is an advanced surface strengthening and repair technology. Its core principle involves using metal wire or metal powder as the coating material, with a high-energy-density focused laser beam as the heat source to simultaneously melt the coating material and a thin surface layer of the workpiece, forming a uniform and stable molten pool. After the molten pool solidifies rapidly, it forms a dense, pore-free, and metallurgically bonded high- performance coating.
